After initially delaying the House vote on banning “assault weapons,” Pelosi cowered before the gun control lobby and made a backroom deal in the dead of the night to reschedule the vote on Friday.
Anti-gun fanatics liked David Hogg even showed up outside of Pelosi’s door last night demanding a vote.
GOA’s public affairs team was working as late as 1:30 A.M. to fight back.
The House ended up passing the “assault weapons” ban 217-213 and it now heads to the 50-50 Senate.
But never forget that activism from gun owners like YOU managed to force the most anti-gun Speaker of the House in history to pull the vote, even if only temporarily.
We cannot stop fighting now. We need to turn our full attention to KILLING this bill in the Senate or we can say goodbye to the Second Amendment.
The rabid Hogg took a victory lap after gun control lobbyists unleashed a scorched earth attack on Democrats to get this vote back on schedule for Friday:

That’s just a preview of what we’re up against in the Senate.
The White House, the billionaire-backed anti-gun lobby, and the hysterical mainstream media will all be coordinating to try and pressure squish Senators like Cornyn, Romney, and McConnell to ban so-called “assault weapons” in America.
They’ve already decided that the term “assault weapons” doesn’t sound scary enough.
Anti-gunners are now calling commonly-owned firearms “weapons of war.”
Biden is also trying to make this bill into pro-law enforcement legislation.
But the truth is: polling shows that over two-thirds of everyday police officers do NOT support banning so-called “assault weapons.”
