An OnlyFans and Instagram model has been charged with murder after allegedly fatally stabbing her boyfriend to death in April.

Courtney Clenney, 26, was arrested Wednesday while in Hawaii and is set to be extradited to Miami-Dade County, according to the Miami Herald. Clenney faces charges of second degree murder with a deadly weapon in connection to the stabbing of Christian “Toby” Obumseli on April 3.

Clenney, who goes by Courtney Tailor on social media, maintains she killed Obumseli in self-defense during a domestic dispute, according to the Miami Herald. The couple had been together for less than two years and Clenney had previously been arrested for domestic battery in Las Vegas. Police also reportedly made several visits to the couple’s Austin, Texas home.

Staff at the One Paraiso building in Miami noted they received several domestic disturbance complaints about the couple and sought to evict them after they had lived there for a few months, the Miami Herald reported. (RELATED: ‘Empowering’: Carmen Electra Says OnlyFans Gives Her A ‘Safe Space’)

Authorities responded to a call at the apartment regarding a domestic disturbance April 1, two days before the stabbing. Then, April 3, Clenney called authorities to report Obumseli had been stabbed, according to the Miami Herald.

Clenney’s lawyer, Frank Prieto, said he was “shocked” at the arrest, noting Clenney was in Hawaii for substance abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder treatment, the outlet continued.

“I’m completely shocked, especially since we were cooperating with the investigation and offered to voluntarily surrender her if she were charged,” Prieto reportedly said. “We look forward to clearing her name in court.”
