Shocking video has emerged showing the inside of the house Anne Heche’s car crashed into in Los Angeles Aug. 5.
The video, obtained by TMZ, shows the charred remains of what used to be the home of Lynne Mishele after Heche’s Mini Cooper crashed into it. Most of the home’s possessions are severely burnt and strewn about, as firemen shuffle through the home in an effort to connect the dots and establish what led to the accident, the outlet reported.
The camerawoman remarks, “Is that where the car was,” as a fireman calculates the dimensions of the space with a measuring tape. A broken staircase and wooden railing are seen in the video, apparently snapped apart from the force of the crash.
Mishele had reportedly walked into another room to do chores when Heche’s car hit the home, sparking the fire. The room she had moved to did not immediately catch fire nor did it collapse, according to TMZ.

This was never about lawsuits or making money,” Shawn Holley, Mishele’s lawyer, told TMZ. “She has lost everything and is so appreciative of all the love and support she has received,
Heche slipped into a coma and was put on life support shortly after the August 5 collision, before being declared brain dead Aug. 12. The famous actress was taken off life support two days later after a match was found for organ donation, according to TMZ.
