A Motley Crue fan was rushed to hospital after being found lying in a pool of blood during a Tuesday concert at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The fan was spotted lying motionless on the ground and is presumed to have fallen from the upper level, according to TMZ. A video posted by the outlet shows the chaos that ensued as attendees rushed to get aid for the injured fan. The band was unaware of the incident and continued to play to the end of their scheduled time — 11:00 p.m.

Nearby fans in the crowd gasped and attempted to assist the fallen fan after realizing what had happened. Paramedics and the Indianapolis Police Department rushed to provide aid and assess the victim’s injuries. The man was placed on a gurney and wheeled out of the stadium to receive medical assistance, according to TMZ.

Police said the injured person was “awake and breathing” when they arrived, according to TMZ. They indicated that the investigation will aim to discover whether the fan was intoxicated at the time of his fall, noting he may have been excessively drunk, leaned too far over the railing and fallen from the upper level to the lower level, according to TMZ. The man’s identity has not been revealed, and his condition remains unknown at this time, according to TMZ.

The band took the stage at roughly 9:30 pm as part of their headlining performance with Def Leppard. At the time of the incident, Motley Crue was playing its hit song “Looks That Kill” roughly 45 minutes into the band’s set, according to TMZ.
