
The Glendale Police Department dispatched several squad cars to Billie Eilish’s Los Angeles home after receiving a prank call suggesting the star was in trouble.
Law enforcement officers confirmed that police swarmed around the singer’s home and were ready to take action to protect Eilish and her family Wednesday afternoon. Police were able to make contact with members of Eilish’s camp after arriving on the scene and quickly determined that the call was a false alarm and the star was not in any kind of danger, according to TMZ.

It appears the caller who made contact with police was a prankster, but based on recent events there was reason to believe that Eilish could have been facing a dangerous situation at her residence.
The home, which is currently inhabited by Eilish’s parents, has been targeted by a trespasser named Christopher Anderson, who allegedly broke into the residence in January, according to TMZ. (RELATED: REPORT: Fans Call Police To Britney Spears’ California House For Welfare Check)

The star successfully obtained a five-year restraining order against Anderson. The court protection also named Eilish’s mother, father and famous brother Finneas, and ordered Anderson to stay away from her home, vehicle and workplace.
Anderson was also restricted from contacting Eilish on social media, according to TMZ.
